How the paver estimate works

The calculator finds patio area from length and width, converts the paver dimensions to square feet, adds your waste allowance, and rounds up to a whole-paver quantity.

Base gravel estimate

Enter your planned compacted base depth and the calculator converts that volume to cubic yards. Excavation depth, local soil conditions, climate, drainage, and manufacturer guidance can change the required base.

What else should I plan for?

Bedding sand, edge restraint, joint sand, geotextile where appropriate, compaction, drainage slope, delivery, and cut pieces are separate from the primary paver estimate.
